Gorilla Trekking Information

Your gorilla trekking experience takes place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.

After a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers, you’ll hike through the rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family.

The trek may take anywhere from one to seven hours depending on where the gorillas are located.

Once you find them, you’ll spend one unforgettable hour observing their natural behaviors while your ranger shares fascinating information about the family.

Chimpanzee Trekking Information

Chimpanzee trekking takes place in Kibale Forest National Park, often referred to as the primate capital of East Africa.

Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide, who will introduce you to Uganda and provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming adventure.

After meeting your guide, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Entebbe, located near the shores of Lake Victoria. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax after your international flight or explore some nearby attractions before preparing for the journey ahead.

Day 2 – Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Day 3 – Morning Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise
